Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is off to a good start. Anyone else dealing with the wardrobe dilemma of cold, cloudy mornings, which turn into warm and sunny afternoons? Well, I guess that’s spring to a T, isn’t it? I’m not complaining though!
Here’s a little dose of style inspiration for this time of year, with 6 very spring-like outfits.
Check Mate
Khaite is really making a name for itself when it comes to denim, first with the Danielle jeans (Corben and Abigail are also honourable mentions), worn by the likes of Kendall Jenner and now with styles like the Dane jeans. Pure white with a wide-leg cut, they go perfectly with prints, case in point: this Veronica Beard check waistcoat. I love the contrast between a smart base and a casual barn jacket. A black bag anchors the look while the burgundy shoes mix in a little sophistication, another contrast to the jacket.
The Hero Jacket
If it’s Nour Hammour, chances are, it’s going on my wishlist. This gorgeous suede jacket is perfect for those in-between days that don’t call for a full-length coat but still require a layer, not to mention how chic it is. It’s also easy to match it with other chocolate brown shades like this The Row bag, which creates a nice sense of cohesion. Bring in a different texture with these croc-embossed Toteme heels.
The Modern Classic

What keeps the trench coat feeling fresh is that it constantly evolves with the times while retaining its original essence. Just look at Chloe’s boho rendition, featuring a flowy silhouette, voluminous sleeves and funnel neck. Pair with a light blue striped shirt and blue wide-leg jeans for a casual base. Finish the look with heels and a bag, both in matching chocolate brown shades, which help to ground the lighter elements. Also, I’m still not over this Margaux shoulder bag (which is getting increasingly harder to find!).
When Preppy Meets Edgy
Black and brown are classic leather jacket shades (and always a favourite of mine), but I do love to see other shades get some love too. This creamy beige Toteme jacket really caught my eye. I like the clean buttons and sleek blazer-style silhouette combined with the texture of leather. It’s for those days when you want to add edge to something preppy like loafers and a polo top — subtle but effective.
All Roads Lead to Monochrome

As much as I adore wearing different colour combinations, I also appreciate a monochrome look. It’s bold in its own right but also simple. Bold, because any head-to-toe colour makes a statement, and simple because you don’t need to worry about clashing colours. On those days when you just need an outfit that works, start pulling out pieces that are the same shade. Then think about varying the textures, mixing in leather and suede to keep it from feeling flat.
Balancing Act
Smart, feminine and sporty all at once…can it be done? Yes! I relish the days that are mild enough to wear a blazer, which of course calls for a skirt too. These new Miu Miu sneakers have been on my mind lately — they’ve got a sporty, retro vibe that contrasts well against this beige Massimo Dutti skirt. Pair with a simple white tee and add a grey blazer for a polished touch.
Thank you for reading.
Til next time!

That Spring Feeling...
Happy Wednesday! Warmer days are on the horizon and my brain’s gone into full spring wardrobe mode — suede bags, trench coats and rosy fragrances. It’s the best time of year for layering, when you can still justify a coat but don’t need to commit to one.
The Spring Jacket Edit
Happy Friday! Who else is enjoying the longer evenings as of late? I know I am and it can only mean one thing: spring really is in full swing. The days of heavy faux fur coats are behind us, but that doesn’t mean we’re ready to ditch the outerwear altogether — at least not yet. In fact, jackets and coats are some of the most powerful pieces in a transitional wardrobe.
