Happy Friday! How’s it going? I can’t believe March is going by so quickly. What do you mean it’s already Aries season? Where did this month go?! On the bright side, spring has officially started, thank goodness. More sunshine is on the way. Let’s get into this week’s best new-ins!
Denim jacket: We all love blue denim but I’ve been interested in coloured denim lately. This Bottega Veneta jacket is a great option if you also love denim but don’t want your whole wardrobe to be a sea of blue (guilty!) There are also matching jeans to go with it, which makes a double denim outfit feel fresh.
Jeans: Okay, we all know Zimmermann for its floral, breezy, ruffly dresses but who knew they could also come through with some seriously good jeans? Love the wide-leg style and the light wash is perfect for spring/summer. Plus, the little chain detail is very on-brand.
White top: This is what I’d call a ‘going out top’. Something I seriously lack in my wardrobe. I tend to shop more for everyday and not enough for ‘events’. Something like this stood out to me because I see it slotting into both categories. Jeans and sandals in the daytime, long skirt, heels and statement earrings at night.
Crochet dress: It took me a minute to check whether or not this dress was actually see-through or not, luckily it has a nude fabric underneath! I could definitely see this being perfect for a summer vacation somewhere near the coast with an Aperol Spritz in hand.
Metallic sneakers: How perfect are these Golden Goose sneakers?! Can’t get enough of metallics this spring/summer. It’s classed as a neutral, so this shade offers tons of versatility.
Margaux bag: Technically not new but it’s here because it’s been restocked! I’m in love with this tan colour — so gorgeous.
Leather jacket: I love how we’re seeing sportier elements weave their way into fashion this year, such as this leather jacket from The Row. Its relaxed silhouette, drawstring waist and hood feel very athleisure indeed.
Trousers: A great workwear option, these Nili Lotan trousers have a bit of a flared leg that feels modern while still taking inspiration from ‘70s styles.
Blazer: I think white blazers don’t get enough credit for how versatile they are. I know they’re risky for us clumsy folks, but come on! The subtle stripes also break up the solid colour, making it a great option for layering over a white tank.
Heels: These are the ultimate vacation shoes for this year, that’s all.
Jeans: I’ve been on the lookout for jeans in this exact shade so of course I had to share them with you. A neutral tone like this is perfect for pairing with bright shades like a vivid green Chanel bag or red mesh shoes.
Polo top: So cute and preppy.

The Minimalist Maximalist
A year ago, I would have confidently called myself a minimalist. If you asked me to define my style using Allison Bornstein’s three-word method, I would have said: minimal, oversized and comfortable. Today, oversized and comfortable still feel true (baggy tees and sneakers for life), but minimal? Not so much.
Spring is Calling...
Don’t mind me doing an internal happy dance that spring is very much approaching. The mood is: skirts, suede and stripes. To get us in the mood for a change in season, here’s some outfits I’ve been planning as of late…
